It is a Heavy Duty large molded aluminum wheel chock that was originally designed in 1949 to protect a gas tanker on an icy slope.HWGY-SB Solid bottom, yellow powder coated chock that features structurally reinforced tire contact areas and top handhold area to make this chock not only safe but easily accessible.
Solid Bottom resists soil compression with vehicles with off-road potential. Wildland fire trucks must use chocks with solid bottoms to be NFPA 1906 compliant. Easy to use and store. the HWG-SB is a favorite with fire departments that rely on fast, dependable protection. Special brackets and accessories are available.
