Worden has a long history of helping companies safely park trucks under potentially serious and often hazardous conditions.

In 1949, our new HWC was immediately popular. It had patented, highly advanced features that were uncommon at that time. Worden Safety was incorporated in 1965 and HWC were now heavily distributed nationwide for loading docks and fire trucks. HWC model was redsigned in 1985 to HWG to reflect design changes that greatly enhance coefficients of friction. It's hard to imagine that chocks were not developed before Worden, but all-in-all, we're the guys who designed the first modern chock.
